HCED took on a new event this year with the Taste of Hancock County on June 8th and to say that it was a success for a first time event was an understatement. We had hoped to have 300 people come join us at the Hamilton City Park and we lost count at 500! On top of that we had 3 amazing bands, 22 vendors with 9 offering tastes of their amazing food and drinks.
Next year we hope to have more food and drink vendors as we celebrate our 2nd Annual Taste of Hancock County in Nauvoo! We hope to see the event grow each year as it travels around the county and offers more tasting opportunities to locals and visitors alike.
