Program Aide – Memorial Hospital, Carthage, IL
The Memorial Hospital will be the host site for an Opioid Program Aide. This position is grant funded through the Workforce Office of Western Illinois. Qualified applicants must meet program eligibility. The position requirements and description include:
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Attend Hancock County Addiction Coalition monthly meetings and subcommittees.
Staff coalition events related to the opioid epidemic.
Research opioid related resources for individuals affected by the opioid epidemic.
Draft press releases and secure resource information for the website and social media.
Make presentations to schools and organizations.
Support Hancock County Addiction Coalition Partners.
High School education or GED.
Minimum two years’ general public interaction preferred.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age for working with the Hidden In Plain Site educational bedroom.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Direct or indirect experience with the opioid epidemic, preferred.
Operational knowledge of social media.
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft office products.
Role model for standards of behavior.
